PHILOSOPHY:
The RVCBL philosophy is to provide an opportunity for players of all skill levels to participate in a formal, organized league with guaranteed playing time. The focus is on teaching basketball fundamentals, teaching concepts of team play, teaching good sportsmanship and letting the players have fun.

League Calendar:
Games will begin in October and run through March. Each team will play one game a week and most divisions will have one practice a week on a weeknight TBD. Coaches will contact their respective players by mid-October.
Eligibility:
The league is open to boy’s grades 3 through 12 and girls grades 3 through 10
Playoffs:
All teams will be guaranteed at least one playoff game
Playing time:
Teams will be limited to 10 players with each player guaranteed at minimum 2 quarters of playing time
Special requests:
The league will not honor special requests for team assignment. With respect to equality of play, team composition will be based on an effort to balance team strength

Divisions:
Freshman boys- 3rd grade, clinic style/scrimmages/games Saturday (Watson)
Freshman girls – 3rd grade clinic style/scrimmages/games Saturday (Watson)
Sophomore boys – 4th and 5th grades, games played Saturday (Riverside)
Sophomore girls- 4th and 5th grades, games played Sunday (SSMS)
Junior boys – 6th and 7th grade, games played Saturday (SSMS)
Junior girls – 6th and 7th grade, games played Saturday (Covert)
Senior Boys- 8th and 9th grade, games played Sunday (SSMS)
Senior girls- 8th, 9th, and 10th grade, games played Sunday (Covert)
Major Boys- 11th and 12th grade, games played weeknights or Sunday. (SSMS, RVC Rec)
